Hello!
My name is Kayce Riva and this is my 5th year in education for DeSoto County Schools. I am currently working to become a National Board Certified Teacher. I am a wife and a mother to four beautiful children. My husband and I have two boys, Hayden-11 and Thomas-5, as well as two sassy girls, Caroline-3 and Kennedy-1.
I am passionate about my career and love to see my students succeed. I welcome each of my students as my own and genuinely care for them as individuals. I want your child leaving me with an impression in their minds and on their hearts that will last a lifetime. I set high expectations and help my students grow and strive for them to reach those exceptions and become a better version of themselves.
I am also here to serve you, the parent, in any way that I can. I constantly use the phrase "teamwork makes the dream work" and thats exactly what we are. A TEAM! Together you, your child, and myself will work together to make sure all goals and needs are met and exceeded and that the most learning occurs, as possible, this school year. If there is any way that I can help you, please reach out to me at any time! Communication is key!
I look forward to being a part of your child's year and I am excited to see what 2019-2010 holds for them!
